Breaking Outta Jail

Like many of you coming across this blog, I seem to have drank the flavor-aid when it came to student loans. I took loans out for only four semesters, but the sum hovering over my head is tens of thousands. The school I went to certainly wasn’t the most expensive choice, but yearly tuition was (for me and my family) quite hefty. It could have been worse, and I can’t emphasize enough how much I appreciate my parents for retooling their assets in order to pay my way, debt-free, after those two years. Now, I must repay this kindness, and get them (and me) out of this debt…

In order to get out, I will be enlisting the help of my cousin, finance extraordinaire, to utilize every tool, exploit any loophole, and build my financial musculature, so I can flex against any obstacle.

What I hope to do with this blog is document my efforts to not only eliminate my debt, but also up my credit-score, and otherwise keep my pocketbook neat, tidy, and (hopefully) full. Welcome to the Debtor’s Jailbreak!
